I am not a fan of digital art. I like scratch marks on drawings, finger prints on ceramics, a few splashes of paint on acrylic.. the human touch.
But is Digital Art lacking soul? Probably not though some digital artists may lack one.
One artist I follow on Instagram works fairly exclusively in the digital realm: Rebecca Hendin. Her work appears in the Guardian and other more left leaning publications. Hence my added affection for Hendin. She skewers the powerful, not difficult but still necessary in contemporary Britain.
