Daily Working

I try to produce something every day. This may be a set of simple gelli prints or an acrylic sketch. I find the process, either way creates surprises — mainly of the good kind but not always. And I can’t actually explains how it happens.

As Frank Auerbach recently told the Financial Times: ‘Everything I finish is not what was intended or hoped for . . . something takes over, and one has done something that can stand up for itself.’
