This simple drawing had graphic potential with abstract shapes.
Next version added colour via acrylic paint to this study on paper (16x23cm). Paper had a ground of all purpose house paint.
Continuing to scale up, this study is graphite with washes of acrylic on Acid Free Cartridge Paper (A3).
Finally, burlap stretched across a canvas and treated with three coats of primer undercoat. Acrylic washes, primarily, with a few impasto spots. (60x50cm)
